Cvit razgovora: Kujundžuša wine party in Imotski
    >

Kujundžuša is an unjustly neglected indigenous white grape variety growing in Dalmatian hinterland, mostly around the town of Imotski. Sadly, because it should be the authentic Dalmatian white wine number one, due to its freshness, subtle minerality and unique aroma. At the moment, it also offers the best value for money ratio among all Croatian whites, especially when you need something refreshing for the summer.
Kujundžuša’s reputation and status should definitely be improved now that there are several serious and ambitious small producers (Grabovac, Šimunović, Jerković, Matković etc.), joined in an association called “Cvit razgovora”. Sounds serious, but trust us, these guys are great and can party really hard.
They traditionally organize a one-day festival dedicated to kujundžuša every August. This year they took it up a notch and had an excellent tasting workshop, invited over some wine bloggers and pampered us beyond our wildest dreams. The festival itself boils down to a big party in the main street of the old part of Imotski, beautiful town full of legends and history, famous for its two lakes: Blue Lake and Red Lake. People from all walks of life drink, eat, listen to live music and mingle, spreading positive vibes of a laid-back place far from the usual fake glamour and pomp typical for events in some bigger cities.
Cvit razgovora is already marked on our calendars for next year!
