Žar is new and it is hot! A small grill house (during rush hour, it’s smart too make a reservation) which, quite surprisingly, does not look like a dump, on the contrary. Above-the average-quality, well-prepared and good-value grilled meat classics like ćevapi, pljeskavica, ražnjići, lungić, side dishes like baked beans, šopska salad and pole, but also turkey and chicken for light eaters and even some good vegetarian stuff.
Medieval style Gargantua’s pictures on the wall are spreading the message – this is the right place for a serious and delicious meat massacre.
Čovječe, Trešnja postaje gastro centar, a ne samo geografski centar Zagreba:)!
The cakes are also delicious, the classical baklava and the divine chocolate cheese-cake Zebra!
