Family Sinković is one of the pioneers of agricultural tourism in Istria and they’re quite multitalented. Lodging, restaurant, farm, winery… You name it, they have it. Libero, the head of the family, is an experienced winemaker with many rewards. Try his Muškat Momjanski, an indigenous type of Muscat wine. Libero’s wife Dora makes incredible brandies, jams and cakes, but the highlight is her truffle cake tartufone. The menu in their tavern consists of typical traditional Istrian dishes and everything is homemade, from pasta to cheese and smoked ham. Occasionally they even produce their own beer! This family truly lives in the harmony with the land, enjoying every bit of it.
The mascots of the Sinković estate are two pot-bellied pigs called Jack and Gigi, who freely roam the yard, mingle with cats or usually just nap. Apart from being a charming little oasis of peace and quiet, Momjan is also a foodie heaven because many great wine producers and restaurants surround it. San Mauro makes the perfect headquarters for gourmet mission of exploring the area.

We met Libero on the 2012 edition of Zagreb Festival of Wine and Culinary Art held in Hotel Regent Esplanade.
